I use them for keeping toothpicks in my car, and also for keeping Q-Tips close to my shower.

I use them for lots of things. Flour shaker, storing vanilla beans, storing home made colored sugar, the same spices, cake decorations and candles, bottom of the jar jelly (so the big jar isn't in the fridge wasting space). Tons of different ways to use them!

Small bud vases ... take off the labels and hand-paint them ... shakers for BBQ dry rub; use the small ones for specialty spices that only come in little bags (smoky paprika, serrano or chipolte chili powder) ... use them for herbs that you dry yourself ... store paper clips in them, or children's barrettes ... larger ones for Q-tips & cotton balls. I keep empty jars in my pantry to put fresh cranberry sauce & fresh salsa in, to give to people ... separate sizes of nails, screws, etc. in your tool box

Buy the same spice in bags and refill the container. You can buy bagged spices at Cost Plus Imports and the Mexican food section of the grocery store.
