OK, I’m about to order some spice jars so I can consolidate all the various spices we use into a useful, consistent storage system. I am stuck with whether it’s better to order glass or plastic jars. The plastic jars have more size options than glass, but I wasn’t sure if the spices store longer in glass. Since I will not be changing what spice is stored each jar, I’m not worried about the fact that the plastic might absorb some of the flavor/aromas of the spices in it. Glass jars won’t haze over time, but these spice jars will be in a cabinet and not on display. Glass is a little more expensive, but not significant. Thanks for your input.
